Highlights

Spend a whole day tour full of historical glimpses in Kom Ombo (also Ombos), the Egyptian agricultural town famous for Temple of Kom Ombo; an astonishing double temple built on the River Nile during the Ptolemic dynasty for two sets of gods. To double the historical enjoyment, the rest of the tour will be spent in Edfu Temple (also Horus Temple) located on the west bank of the Nile. Feel the greatness at the main entrance showing the first pylon of the temple which was built as a dedication to god Horus.


Itinerary

Tour Egypt Travel representative will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan to start the tour. The sand part of the day will be in the Temple of Kom Ombo on high grounds overlooking the Nile. It has two entrances; each one is dedicated to divinity: "Haroeris" with his falcon head and “Sobek “with his crocodile head. It was built on the honor of two deities Sobek and Haroeris. The other part will in Edfu. Upon arrival, you will get a horse carriage to Horus Temple; the best preserved cult temple in Egypt.
Finally transfer back to your original departure point in Aswan, or continue to be dropped off at Luxor.
